Despite the pure intentions of love, fear, and the desire for connection, the energy drain phenomenon can manifest in various ways.
It occurs when the goals, passions, and dreams of an individual clash with the expectations or fears of those they surround themselves with, especially within familiar relationships.
Unresolved conflicts, limiting beliefs, and unspoken expectations can lead to subtle but significant energy depletion.
The mind loves what is familiar and although the pain of the energy drain is noticable, the fear of facing this often can seem overwhelming.
We crave connection therefore, even if that connection is painful we often avoid taking actionable steps to put our own energy, desires and dreams first.
No one wins and as we spiral into chaos and internalise our pain to protect others, we decend into the abis of not feeling good enough, shame, guilt and judgement become our companions whilst we hide and try to validate why things cannot change
