When I first started writing my book
Drowning in Anxiety
I was going to call it The Power of not Proving. I spent so much time trying to fit in to other peoples rules, proving myself to them. Giving, giving giving, then never recieving, does that sound familiar.
If I quit I would be a failure, I put other peoples opinions of me higher than my own happiness.
When I failed I was different, not good enough and that I would never be successful.
I felt that if I didn't win I wouldn't be accepted, but who wants to be accepted if those people can't accept all of you?
I was recently on a call with my coach the amazing
Lisa Nichols
who you might know from the film the Secret and she said this "When you quit doing things and see that failure is the oppotunity to give you more time to do what you love, then that failure becomes the fuel for your success".
I knew this and as a Rapid Transformational Therapist that is what I do to help my clients break the feeling and the story, so they can change their life, but I love the way Lisa re-framed that.
But what does that really feel like and why is quiting and seeing failure as a success so important?
Remember you are not your past, you have come through your past - Failure is just a lesson and the growth comes in seeing failure as a lesson.
What can I learn - watch this video, see if it resonates.
The Subconcious Mind Holds the Key
Guess what, you don't know what you don't know. So if logic says you should feel differently, but you don't, there is a subconcious belief you are not aware of, that is attached to that feeling. But if it's subconcious and your not aware of it, how do you survive.
You connect to what you know and find false evidence to prove why your life is like it is.
I come from a broken home, I am different because the kids at school picked on me, I am not good enough because I failed my exams, that's not available to me because my family have always been poor.
These are stories anchored by feelings programmed into you and you can escape, but you need to take radical action and understand that you have all the answers to your mental and physical pain.
When you quit living in the past and when you use the crap you tell yourself as fuel to light the fire that will allow you to find your true self, you turn Impossible to I'm Possible.
Isn't that what you want, to break of that feeling, leave it in the past and start writing a new chapter.
By holding onto the past you fill a space that can be filled with joy, love, freedom and possibility so why not let it go.
Quit holding onto those feelings of failure and create a space that you can fill with happiness, peace and love.
Why not find your freedom today.
